Today, Friday 04/01/08, the tug FIGHTER leaves 'under tow' for the last time the port of Terneuzen.

For years the tug was stationned at Flushing as salvage tug for casualties at the entrance of the River Scheldt.

In her second life the tug will become a floating stage in the Port of Rotterdam.

As a symbolic way of saying goodbye, one of the former crewmembers let go the mooring rope.
