Today, Thursday the 11th of December 2008 URS took delivery of the latest newbuilding UNION TOPAZ at the Spanish Shipyard Astilleros Armon.

The UNION TOPAZ is a 66 TBP ASD (Azimuth Stern Drive) tug of 33 m LOA.

She is the sistervessel of the Union Diamond, Union Sapphire, Union Coral, Union Pearl, Union Ruby, Union Emerald and Union Onyx.

Her arrival in Antwerp is planned for Sunday 14/12 pm (WP/AGW)

After receiving the finishing touch at the URS shipyard in Antwerp she will become part of the URS fleet for the port of Zeebrugge.

With the arrival of the UNION TOPAZ, the URS fleet in the Port of Zeebrugge will be the youngest fleet of harbourtugs in Europe.
